Purpose and Objectives
The American Edged Products Manufacturers Association exists to assist and strengthen the efforts of the companies constituting its membership to effectively serve the edged products fabricating, manufacturing and marketing industry by:

• Providing members with an opportunity for education, exchange of experience and opinions through discussion, study and publication
• Encouraging the development of high standards of products, services and business practices among its members
• Providing a framework for communication and cooperation between and among members of the Association and governmental agencies at the national, state and local levels
• Presenting management meetings, technical seminars, exhibitions and trade missions to acquaint Association members, as well as the companies they serve, with advancements in technology, management programs, marketing techniques and product improvements
• Promoting edged products that are wholly or substantially manufactured in the United States
